Hoodies are back in the game

Les vestes à capuches, c'est ce dont vous avez besoin. J'arrive assez bien à detester Bathing Ape (notament les Bapestas) mais leurs vestes à capuches sont vraiment folles. La photo est un hoody Bathing Ape, mais les meilleurs sont les collaborations Bathing Ape x Kaws mais j'ai pas trouvé de photos viables, désolé. Pour cette ambiance tokyoïte, son ambassadeur aux States me sembent nécessaire.

Hoodies, that's what you need. I manage to hate Bathing Ape (especially the Bapestas) but thie hoodies are really some crazy ish. The photo is a hoody from Bathing Ape but the best ones are the one that are the result of the collaboration Bathing Ape x Kaws but I didn't find any good picture to show you, sorry. For this Tokyo mood, his ambassador in the USA seems necessary.

Dipset is in the building. Juelz Santana nous a sorti sa dernière version de Back Like Cooked Crack, et nous en sommes au volume 3. Ceci arrive avant son album intitulé "What the game's been missing" qui sortira normalement de 22 Novembre. Voici deux morceaux de tape, le second ressemble beaucoup à l'instru de Certified Gangsta. "Don't Watch Me / Watch TV", faire claqué les consonnes, tel est son leitmotiv. Santana's back to business !

Dunks = Shoes of the millenium

Les chaussures du millénaires sont les Dunks si vous êtes normalement constiués et que la liaison nerveuse entre l'oeil et le cerveau est normale. Un jour quelqu'un me dit, les Vandals sont mieux. Quelle folie ! Entendre ça de quelqu'un qui a l'air sympatique me fait toujours un peu de peine. Ce post est là parce que maintenant on peut créer ses propres Dunks sur internet. Cela a été fait par des Japonais, mais on peut comprendre comment ça marche sans avoir fait la fac de la langue de Mizoguchi. C'est par ici.

The millenium shoes are obviously the Dunks if you're a normal person and that the link between your eyes and your brain is working properly. Some say, someone told me, the Vandals are better. How crazy that is ! Hearing that from somebody that seems nice fills me with pity. This post is here because now we can create our own Dunks on da net. Headbangaz

Certains morceaux provoquent des maux au niveau du cou. A leur simple écoute votre tête fait un mouvement d'avant en arrière incontrolable. Le premier morceau est le remix du morceau R'n'B ultra connu avec la star du dancehall, le genialissime Elephant Man. Pour le second, ce remix du morceau de Talib Kweli (qui est très bon en général) est tout simplement magique avec la crème de la crème, ça represente pas mal Brooklyn et c'est ça qui est bon.

Some tracks really hurt your neck. Just when you're listening to them, your head is going frontward and backward and you don't know why. The first song is the remix of the well-known R'n'B track with the dancehall star, your greatness Elephant Man. For the second one, this remix of this Talib Kweli's song (who is most of the time good) is simply magical with la crème de la crème, it's representing Brooklyn in the main and that is good.

Les Beatnuts est un groupe new-yorkais (évidement) qui débuta vers la fin des années 80, ils sont latinos et comme tout bon latino, ils bossent souvent dans cette même communauté. Le sample de Watch Out Now a été repris par la suite par J-Lo. Le deuxième morceau est extrait de l'album de Big Pun "Endangered Species" avec en featuring je vous le donne dans le mile The Beatnuts. Le dernier morceau est lui d'un membre des Dipsets à savoir J.R. Writer extrait de sa tape "Best of the Ethiopian Vol. 1", assez violent.

The Beatnuts is a new yorkish group (for sure) that started in the late 80s, they are latinos and like every good latino, they are often working with people from their own community. The sample from Watch Out Now has been used again by J-Lo. The second track is from the "Endangered Species" from Big Pun with a featuring from obviously The Beatnuts. The last track is from a Dipset member, that is to say J.R. Writer extracted from his mixtape "Best of the Ethiopian Vol. 1", quite violent one.

Irak NY

Vous avez peut-être déjà entendu parler de ce collectif Irak NY, dans le cas contraire je m'en vais vous en dire un peu plus sur eux. Ce groupe de taggeur a débuté au milieu des années 90, leur leitmotiv était (et est toujours) de piquer dans les magasins. Ce groupe est toujours en representation du Lower East Side de Manhattan. Ces T-shirts restent assez introuvables à part dans quelques magasins new yorkais et certains autres à travers la planète. Lu dans une interview, à la question "Quels sont vos projets ?", réponse "Faire des Dunks en bacon pour Nike SB et un manteau en chair humaine pour Mark Ecko ! " et en plus ils ont de l'humour. You may have heard of this crew called Irak NY, if not, I'm gonna tell you a bit more about them. This graffiti crew started in the mid 90s, their leitmotiv was (and still is) to shoplift. This crew is always representing the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Those Ts are quite rare except in a few shops in New York and a few others around the world. Read in an interview, to the question " What are your projects ? ", answer " We're gonna make some Dunks out of bacon for Nike SB, a human flesh jacket for Marc Ecko ! " morevover they got humour. What is called "House"

Un petit peu de musique éléctronique n'a jamais fait de mal à personne. Comme disait Dostoievski à une fête dans la banlieue de St Petersbourg : "Rien ne vaut un bon morceau de house pour apprécier la vie". Il avait raison et était quand même un sacré visionnaire. Evidement il ne faisait pas allusion a Guetta Blaster lorsqu'il a dit mais plutôt aux morceaux que voilà :

A bit of electronic music never hurt anybody. Like Dostoievski said once in a party in the suburbs of St Petersburg : "Nothing is better than house music in order to appreciate life". He was quite right and was a real precursor. For sure he wasn't talking about Guetta Blaster but more likely to songs like those.

Flashy Car

Cam'ron s'est fait tiré dessus trois fois après un concert à Washington D.C.. Tout ceci parce qu'il roulait avec sa Lamborghini bleue dans les rues. Si il avait eu une Toyota Hybrid, il aurait jamais eu ce problème, il ne serait peut être pas arriver à la capitale mais il ne serait pas à l'hopital. Je vous mets son dernier morceau.

Cam'ron has been shot three times after a show in Washington D.C.. All that happened because he was driving his blue Lamborghini in the streets. If he had a Hybrid Toyota, he would have never had this problème, he might have not reached the capital but he wouldn't be in hospital. I uploaded his last track.

Nike Dunk High Pro SB - "Melvins"

Voici les Nike Dunk High Pro SB - "Melvins" du nom du groupe de post-punk qui débuta dans les années 80. Cette paire de chaussures est évidement assez exclusive donc coute quelques pesetas. On peut la trouver sur certains e-shops pour la somme de $199, je ne l'ai pas vu sur des sites européens mais peut être trouvable, enfin je pense.

Da King of Da Pipo

Le King du Pipo a été decerné par moi et c'est déjà pas mal. Il s'agit de l'analyste pseudo-scientifique de Arret sur Images. Se basant sur des études de chercheurs qui sont tous américains (ils sont tellement forts) où ils tirent des conclusions sur l'homme en partant d'experiences sur des souris, mais c'est bien connu que les souris peuvent écrire Tropique du Capricorne. Ce matin, il a atteint son acmé en faisant un parallèle entre le rapport taille/hanche des icones et de la santé économique mondiale. Magique !

The King of da Pipo has been awarded by me and that's already a lot. The winner is the so called scientific analyst from Arret sur Images. Based on studies by only american scientists (they are so smart) where they draw conclusion about human beings coming from experiments on mice, it's well-known that mice can write Henry Miller's book. This morning, he reached his acmé doing a parallel between the ration hip/belly of the great women in history and the economic health of the world. Crazy ish !

Toi aussi tu as envie d'avoir des dents en platine, un 4x4 tellement grand qu'une Polo peut se garer dessous, ton pseudo en pendantif fait par Jacob & Co., une bouteille de Courvoisier tout en papotant avec Mr. T, des copines qui ne se deplacent qu'en bikini en bougeant leurs fesses, et en fait non tu peux pas. Tu n'as pas envie d'être aussi ridicule qu'Eminem ou K-Maro donc t'écoutes de la musique violente pour y croire.

You don't want to be as ridiculous as what Eminem and K-Maro are so you're listening to violent music in order to believe in it.

Reebok x Jean Michel Basquiat

Une exposition a lieu en ce moment à Los Angeles sur Jean-Michel Basquiat, qui est au passage un de mes artistes préférés. Cet homme, ancien taggeur connu sous le pseudo de Samo, a été découvert par Andy Warrhol. Il peut être aussi vu dans un film remarquable nommé Downtown 81. Et voila qu'une marque de sneakers bien connu nous fait une édition spéciale pour cette occasion. J'ai jamais trop aimé cette marque - excepté pour les Reebok Pump, respect - qu'est Reebok qui a eu son heure de gloire lorsqu'elle a signé Shaquille "The Big Shaq" O'neal pour une ligne de chaussure. Mais il faut saluer cette initiative. Cette paire de chaussures est faite à 1500 exemplaires et coutera 150 dollars, ce qui est peu cher compte tenu du nombre d'exemplaires.


An exhibition is taking place right now in Los Angeles about Jean-Michel Basquiat, who is one of my fav' artist. This guy, former tagger known under the nickname of Samo, has been discovered by Andy Warrhol. You can also see him in a good movie called Downtown 81. And now a well known sneakers brand is creating a special edition for this event. I've never really been into this brand - except for the Reebok Pump, respect - that is Reebok that had its days when they signed Shaquille "The Big Shaq" O'neal for a shoe line. We got to clap to this creation. Those kicks will be available for $150 that is quite cheap since there will be only 1500 items.

Nouvelle insulte dont j'ai été gratifié au cours d'une soirée. Voici deux morceaux qui vont vous permettre de vous relaxer et de ne pas lui sauter dessus avec une batte de baseball en bois (old school is often the best) pour lui exploser sa petite tête. On va parler un peu de Bun B qui sort un nouvel album "Trill", cet artiste sort tout droit de Houston, ville des Rockets, de Olajuwon et des Astros autrement dit rien de bien passionant dans les 5 dernières années. Mais voilà le rap game texan se reveille et nous lache des bombes telles que Bun B ou bien Paul Wall (qui sonne le renouveau des appareils dentaires). Le premier extrait de l'album est Wraped Up mais je vous mets ce morceau avec Luda qui est tout aussi puissant dans ce que l'on sait faire dans le Dirty South.

The first single out of this album is Wraped Up but I uploaded this track with Luda that is as powerfull as what can be done in da Durty South.

Voila le premier vrai post de ce blog et celui se porte sur cette paire de chaussures. Elles repondent au doux nom de Handball 5 Plug. Elle rentre directement dand la lignée des Nike iD avec donc des couleurs afriolantes qui respire la joie de vivre. Ces chaussures sont bien entendu achetable que dans le pays de Takeshi Kitano et nulle part ailleurs. Elles valent 11000 yens soit 95€, ce qui reste raisonnable pour une paire aussi exclusive.

This is really what has been done through the Nike iD series that is to say some crazy colors full of joy. You can buy them only from Takeshi Kitano's country and nowhere else. They cost 11000 yens approximately 100$, that is still reasonable for such great kicks.
